The OOHC Aboriginal Program Coordinator sits in the Foster Care department of Challenge Community Services and reports directly to the OOHC Program Manager.
The OOHC Aboriginal Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing program related initiatives to enhance the services provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people, their families and carers in Challenge Foster Care.
The role involves the implementation and outcome monitoring of various cultural related projects, providing consultation and support to ensure Challenge is meeting funding and accreditation requirements, the development and delivery of training to staff, carers and stakeholders, contributing to the development of OOHC related policy and procedures and driving various OOHC related initiatives.
The role requires someone who is able to work autonomously to deliver outcomes specific to this position, whilst being a part of a broader, dynamic team responsible for various projects and training portfolio's.
This role requires travel across New South Wales.
