The CFMEU Victorian Branch is seeking committed and principled Organisers to join the Vic Branch’s Organising team.

The CFMEU keeps workers safe, protects wages and conditions, and leads campaigns that deliver real change for working people. The CFMEU is in a period of renewal under Administration, with a clear commitment to best-practice governance and a return to democratic member control.

As an Organiser, you will be the face of the union across a designated group of worksites—building membership, supporting delegates, enforcing safety and rights on the job, and developing the leaders who make the union strong. You will bring integrity, courage, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage directly with construction workers. Your work will be central to delivering the union’s industrial strategy, growing membership density, and supporting safe, fair and lawful workplaces.

We welcome applicants with a deep commitment to union values, strong people skills, and the ability to work as part of a disciplined, supportive team. Experience in organising is essential. Experience in the building industry is highly desirable.
