About the role

The Grants Officer works closely with the Research Development Manager to provide professional support to researchers for the full ‘lifecycle’ of research grants, including sourcing funding opportunities and liaison with funding bodies, coordination and support for researchers in the application process, tracking grant outcomes, administering grant agreements, and compliance and acquittals.

Please note this is a maximum term position (maternity leave cover).

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience coordinating the development and submission of research grant applications
• Working knowledge of grant funding programs and bodies, and the Australian medical research landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing issues
