The Central Land Council (CLC) is a Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional owners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people across the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.
We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the following position:
GRANTS ACCOUNTANT – FI002 – ALICE SPRINGS
CL 6 (Commencing at $76,854 progressing to $88,283)
The Grants Accountant is responsible for maintaining proper financial records for all external grants received by CLC and maintaining an effective relationship with external and internal clients. They coordinate monthly Income and Expenditure meetings with all Grant Project officers and their managers.

Total effective package includes base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Yearly progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Advancement is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
