BGCLS is seeking a qualified, passionate Lawyer to work in our Ballarat office. This is a full time 38 hours per week 2 years fixed term position.

You will work as part of a small team providing clients with relevant timely legal advice, casework and representation.

The successful candidate will be both suitably experienced and qualified, possessing the qualifications necessary to practice law in the Federal Jurisdiction. Applicants must demonstrate experience working in the areas of Family Law, Family Violence and generalist civil matters with a minimum 2 years experience. Experience providing duty lawyer services will be highly regarded.

Hours of work may be negotiated to allow for working parents, carers or lifestyle requirements. Some flexibility with work hours may be required as various times, dependent on client and organisational needs.

Ballarat & Grampians Community Legal Service (BGCLS) is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides free legal advice, casework and community legal education to people who live, work and study in the Grampians Region.
