About the Role

We are seeking a Practitioner to join our Education and Life Skills Program where our aim is to enhance individual quality of life and strengthen family relationships through psycho-social education and skills building activities. This is a part time (0.75FTE) fixed term role until June 2021. In this role you will:

• Facilitate and Co-facilitate evidence-based courses for children and adult groups
• Collaborate with team members in the planning and implementation of all courses
• Manage resources required to facilitate and/or co-facilitate courses for children and adult groups
• Review, evaluate and develop group processes and course content
• Develop new connections and supports in the broader community for clients

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Behavioural Sciences
• Ability to implement psycho-social skills during all stages of client contact
• Demonstration of knowledge of theoretical frameworks associated with child development, family dynamics and functioning, and models of change
• Current drivers' licence
• A current valid blue card
• Possession of or ability to obtain a Yellow Card
