About the Position

The Community Engagement program delivers best practice marketing, fundraising and engagement strategies that promote the CatholicCare Victoria brand, deepen supporter relationships, inspire philanthropic giving and contribute to social change.

The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of engagement activities that foster partnerships and strategic alliances for CatholicCare Victoria’s mission. Specifically, the Community Engagement Coordinator will provide leadership in Parish and School engagement.

Specifically, the position is responsible for:

• Work with internal stakeholders to develop and promote a Community Engagement strategy that inspires support for CatholicCare Victoria mission and aims.
• Manage the planning, execution, optimisation and evaluation of customised and compelling communication and engagement strategies for Catholic parishes and schools.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Partnerships, Business Development or related field
• Demonstrated experience engaging the community in social change initiatives
• Experience in similar role in the Church or Diocesan sector
