Communications Officer - Internal Communications Lead - Location Negotiable

About the Position

The Community Engagement program delivers best practice marketing, fundraising and engagement strategies that promote the CatholicCare Victoria brand, deepen supporter relationships, inspire philanthropic giving and contribute to social change.

The Communications Officer, Internal Communications Lead is responsible for the design, development and distribution of effective, high-quality written and visual communications. A key focus of this role is to provide expertise to develop and deliver internal communication plans and initiatives that support organisational change and improve the experience and engagement of internal audiences.

Specifically, the position is responsible for:

  • Providing communications advice, guidance and support to Chief Executive Officer and Leadership team to develop communications strategies and messages that support the achievement of CCV.
  • Facilitate the development of internal communication materials.
  • Provide oversight for staff-generated external communications to ensure compliance with editorial and visual branding guidelines.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications or PR role
  • Demonstrated communication and writing skills, graphic design skills, and competency using Adobe Creative Suite and digital content management systems
