Cambodian Children’s Fund is based on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our mission is to transform the lives of the most impoverished, marginalised and neglected children in Cambodia through high quality education, leadership training and direct support programs. The function of the Australian office is to raise funds to support these programs. You can read more about our work here.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- interacting with current and potential donors
- event and fundraising support including availability to do extra hours during our events
- supporting a well established child sponsorship program
- administrative support, including processing and updating payment details, for our growing regular giving program
- maintaining the donor database
- general administrative duties
- support for any project that is tasked to the team
Skills and Knowledge
- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors
- detail oriented
- computer literacy, preferably with proficiency in using Mac, Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- experience working with the Customer Relationship Management platform Salesforce, although a willingness to learn would also be fine
- ability to manage daily tasks and also take on new tasks and projects as they arise
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work well with others and have a positive attitude
- self motivated and resourceful
- flexibility to work more or different hours when occasionally needed.
