Team Leader - ParentsNext - Shepparton

CCV has entered into a contract with the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment to facilitate, co-ordinate, manage and evaluate a range of services provided through the national ParentsNext initiative.

The aim of the ParentsNext pre-employment program is to help parents with young children to plan and prepare for employment once their youngest child reaches school age. This program provides intervention and support to these people through strength – based and early intervention strategies that are holistic and family centred.

This role is responsible for providing leadership to the ParentsNext team to ensure a strong team culture and that reporting requirements are met, and services are provided to a professional standard which meets the needs of the targeted client group.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Provide positive team leadership and individual staff support and supervision.
  • Support team members to effectively meet, and accurately report on, their participants and service output targets.
  • Contribute effectively to the evaluation of program data.
  • Participate in the regional leadership team.

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing leadership to a team delivering high quality service.
  • Experience in program development, planning, monitoring, reporting and assessing performance requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills, including data entry.
