ROLE

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Partnerships Specialist will be responsible for generating income with a focus on untied income through event and campaign sponsorship and other bespoke opportunities.

You get to garner corporate interest in a new star rating scheme whilst managing current relationships, securing new partners and sponsors, and implementing tools for measuring and reporting partnership impact.

The role is varied and would suit a skilled (and ideally experienced) fundraising coordinator with preferable experience in supporting corporate partnerships or relevant business expertise, who possesses exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, a positive can-do attitude and excellent administration capabilities whilst effectively managing relationships to drive engagement and support with a broad range of stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate income through employee giving schemes, event and campaign sponsorship and other initiatives.
  • Increase corporate engagement by nurturing and developing existing relationships.
  • 360 account management of existing and new sponsorships, including pitching, contract negotiations, regular communication, ensuring deliverables are met and reporting conducted.
  • Ensure sponsorship of events, campaigns, or other programs and services.
  • Developing a plan and suite of offerings for corporates, working with Marketing team to produce materials.
  • Support new business initiatives to maximise potential, converting new prospects and/or new opportunities.
  • Support, nurture and grow the Workplace Giving portfolio.
  • Engage volunteer team to create opportunities for corporate volunteering, working with their fundraising team to develop a calendar of events, campaigns etc.
  • Support the Commercial Manager develop pricing structure for the star rating scheme, recruiting participants from all levels of business.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (communications, business, marketing, sales etc).
  • 2-3 years in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated drive and motivation, ability to self-reflect, and commitment to learning and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with others to remove barriers and break down silos and with client/customer focused outcomes.
  • Ability to build, foster and sustain relationships (internally and externally)
  • Strong presentation and clear communication skills
  • Understanding and ability to use available technologies and information to maximise efficiencies and deliver effective services.
  • Ability to achieve results through a commitment to quality, planning and efficient resourcing.
  • Able to continually develop and apply specialist and technical skills and expertise to achieve work outcomes, sharing with others.
  • Able to communicate clearly and openly with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to and consider different ideas, discussing issues credibly and thoughtfully, gaining consensus and commitment from others.
