ROLE

This is an outstanding opportunity to use your graphic design experience (with charity and fundraising experience highly regarded) to create visually stunning and emotionally compelling designs for charity clients across print and digital.

Reporting to the Client Services Director, you get to exercise effective project management skills working with their charity clients to deliver world-class visual storytelling, generating emotional and rational responses with a good knowledge of classic direct marketing design principles.

This is a unique opportunity to further develop your graphic design experience, bringing a calm demeanour to work autonomously and collaboratively with good bunch of highly talented and experienced fundraising professionals

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create visually stunning and emotionally compelling designs (both print and digital)
• Generate emotional and rational responses purely through the power of visual communication
• Research topics and learn about the causes and organisations they support
• Understand and focus on target audiences through visual storytelling
• Provide world-class service to clients and team members
• Be able to navigate tight timelines, multiple briefs, and complex projects
• Advocate for professional fundraising with a passion for learning.
• Present concepts to groups of people with confidence

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• A few years of graphic design experience (fundraising design preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of classic direct marketing design principles essential
• Solid background in visual communication
• Comfortable with cloud-based software, mobile devices and social media
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential
• Strong organisation, project management and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Open to learn and embrace new technologies and design trends
• Ability to work across multiple brand guidelines and adapt design styles
• Work with honesty and transparency
