ROLE

Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager responsible for driving growth (through securing discretionary and tied funding, & grants), and building and nurturing innovative corporate partnerships, to ensure sustainable support for SVA’S initiatives.
The role would suit a creative and strategic corporate partnerships professional with (previous not for profit experience) exceptional written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills looking to make an impact as part of a collaborative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver annual fundraising goals through development of innovative strategies for acquiring, managing and stewarding SVA’s corporate partner base.
- Develop and deliver donor communications, cases for support, presentation decks and grant submissions.
- Research and assess new corporate funding models.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate donors and partners across all aspects of the fundraising cycle.
- Work with corporate partners and Senior Manager to develop corporate engagement opportunities.
- Measure and report on impact of corporate partners, providing meaningful insights to partners.
- Develop and deliver engaging events and experiences for SVA corporate partners and donors.
- Develop strong relationships internally and externally, contributing to team and organisational initiatives.
- Represent SVA at meetings and events.
- Ensure effective data integrity to align with best practice
- Ability to travel nationally and attend events outside of standard office hours as required.
YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, arts, social sciences and/or equivalent professional experience in similar environment an advantage. Previous not for profit experience essential.
- Demonstrated business development and sales and strategic prospecting, relationship building and negotiation.
- Strategic thinking, and analytical skills and able to make data informed decisions.
- Successful track record in identifying, securing and stewarding corporate partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in developing corporate partnership proposals, grant writing and donor communications.
- Proven experience in developing innovative corporate engagement and volunteering initiatives.
- Experience in event management highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to persuade, influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in relationship management and revenue generation across various formats (grant processes, pitches at events, one-on-one engagements and large-scale events.)
- Ability to manage organisational objectives alongside partner priorities and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Adaptable, collaborative with a solutions-focus and learning mindset, open to feedback with an ability to work cross-culturally and form long-term relationships.
- Ability to think creatively and express complex ideas through tailored communications and events.
- Passion and commitment in working to further SVA’s purpose
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, predominantly Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
