About the Role
CatholicCare is seeking a passionate and skilled Therapist to join our Tuggerah-based MST-CAN (Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect) team.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work on complex, meaningful cases that truly change lives.
You’ll deliver in-home and community-based interventions to families where child abuse or neglect has occurred—helping to rebuild trust, safety, and connection. You’ll manage a small caseload, allowing you to focus deeply on each family’s unique needs.

About You
- Master’s degree in psychology or social work preferred (or a four-year degree with relevant experience in child protection).
- Experience in family therapy, trauma-informed care, and/or substance use treatment.
- Familiarity with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and behaviourally based approaches (desirable).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A passion for working with vulnerable families and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
