Carpentaria is a not-for-profit organisation with a proud 50-year history of providing disability and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults across the Northern Territory. We deliver innovative and flexible services and are committed to a person-centred philosophy that empowers people to thrive and live a great life.
Our Therapy Services team support participants in Darwin and Alice Springs and regularly travel to rural and remote communities including Maningrida, Milingimbi, Katherine, Barunga, Beswick, Kintore, Papunya, and APY Lands.
Carpentaria is delivering a unique, community-focused, multi-disciplinary Allied Health service in Maningrida, located in the heart of Arnhem Land. We’re searching for passionate and experienced clinicians who want to be part of the development and delivery of this pilot program, paving the way for the future of remote Allied Health service delivery.
You’ll be experienced in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people or committed to improving the health and wellbeing outcomes of people living in remote communities across the Top End. You’ll be a flexible, adaptable person, seeking adventure and an opportunity to collaborate with other clinicians, stakeholders, and the community of Maningrida.
As part of our Remote Therapy Services team, you can shape your career in a way that suits you. Find your perfect work/life balance with flexible FIFO rosters and full time or part time opportunities, so you can enjoy the best of the Northern Territory’s relaxed, active, outdoor lifestyle.
New to the Top End? You’ll love the welcoming community, access to incredible National Parks, year-round warm weather, limited traffic, incredible sunsets, and fantastic camping, hiking and fishing.
Relocation assistance to Darwin is available, with all travel and accommodation in Maningrida paid and organised by our supportive administration team.
We provide a positive work environment that encourages and promotes work/life balance, a sense of humour and having fun. In this role you will work with a passionate team who will encourage and inspire you to develop and progress your skills and career, whilst supporting Territorians with disabilities to live their best life.
You’ll shape the future of Allied Health services in remote communities, contributing to improved health and wellbeing outcomes, an empowered local workforce, and self-determination within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in the disability field, with opportunities for ongoing clinical support, supervision, leadership and professional development.
