We are seeking applications from compassionate and caring individuals. This role is all about bring meaning to our residents day to day living. Bring your energy and passion for enriching the lives of older Australians into this fun, dynamic and varied role!

Reporting to the Residential Manager you will be a valuable member of the care team responsible for overseeing the activities program for residents, enhancing their psychological, social, and physical wellbeing. The successful candidate will require the willingness and capability to lead and work within a team whilst also having the ability to engage a dynamic activity program, which will excite residents, staff and visitors.

The role position is located at Carinity Brownesholme, Carinity’s new residential Aged Care site is located in Highfields, just a short drive from Toowoomba and close to all amenities. Carinity’s new Brownesholme facility is designed and equipped with modern design concepts and technology to support residential care.

What do I need for the role?

  • Previous experience in a similar role in an Aged Care environment developing leisure programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Person Centred Care.
  • Ability to complete documentation including assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with residents, relative’s, staff and visitors.
  • Compassion and a genuine interest in caring for the elderly, supporting their dignity and independence.
