CareFlight is an Australian not-for-profit aeromedical organisation proudly voted as 2019’s most reputable charity. Our mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.

We operate from locations in NSW, northern WA and the Top End of the NT. Our specially trained doctors, nurses and paramedics use helicopters, aeroplanes, medi-jets and road ambulances to bring a hospital level of care to over 5,000 patients each year. We also have a suite of Education services we deliver including content on Pre-Hospital Trauma, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, Aeromedical Retrieval Training, Tactical & Hostile Response Emergency Access & Treatment, and Remote Emergency & Critical Care Trauma. Further to this CareFlight provides a variety of unique first responder training courses free of charge to communities across Australia, known as the MediSim program.

The role

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Education Coordinator to join our Education team within the MediSim program with a focus on our activities in the Northern Territory. Reporting to the MediSim Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Program administration and scheduling;
  • Service delivery, promotion and implementation of all MediSim educational activities;
  • Stakeholder engagement, including answering enquires, and close involvement and advocacy of team, sponsorship and other key relationships;
  • Database management and systems development, including capturing feedback, monitoring and maintaining high workshop standards and reporting on workshop metrics;
  • Resource and equipment coordination;
  • Financial administration and reconciliation; and
  • Teamwork and support.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Experience in coordinating education activities and administrating geographically dispersed events and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate well with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management, administration and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for data management, reporting and evaluation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, online and content management tools and other communication software.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a changing environment whilst achieving simultaneous deadlines and KPIs.
