The Role

High Risk Offenders Alcohol and Drug Service (HiROADS) is a state wide specialist forensic alcohol and other drug (AOD) service designed to address the treatment needs of offenders with complexities that may increase the risk of recidivism

We have a unique, up-coming opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our team at HiROADS. This role will be based in Abbotsford with some travel required to support the state-wide service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a highly specialised skill-set in a diverse clinical area.

No two days will be the same in this position as the work is varied and highly rewarding. There is significant opportunity to work from a dual-diagnosis approach with complex forensic clients on an individual basis tailoring their treatment using a variety of treatment approaches.

About You

The role requires a highly skilled clinician with capacity to work in a complex forensic setting and has strong motivation to provide clinical support to a diverse team of skilled clinicians that value a cohesive, supportive team culture.

It would be ideal if you had experience:

• Leading and coordinating team
• Some exposure to working with sex offenders
• Experience providing clinical supervision and support to other clinicians (AHPRA registered supervisor or eligible preferred)
• Strong aptitude to complete monthly performance reporting (KPI/Financial performance)
