The Victorian Cancer Registry provides comprehensive, accurate and timely information for cancer control by developing and maintaining a high quality, accessible information asset to support epidemiological, clinical, behavioural and health services research and evaluation.

About your opportunity

We are seeking a Support Officer to join the Victorian Cancer Registry Division. Reporting to the Statewide MDM Coordinator your role is to:

  • Assist the Coordinator- State-wide MDM project and project team in engagement activities with user groups and other project stakeholders to ensure optimal functionality of the QOOL-Vic platform within funding constraints
  • Deliver and support training to QOOL-Vic users, help trouble-shoot issues as they arise and identify opportunities for improvement in the software and workflow
  • Support effective communication and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure health services successfully implement the software

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in health information system and administrative fields, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Excellent administration and project coordination skills with the ability to support projects through to completion in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes
  • Well-developed relationship management and communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with individuals and groups
