About your opportunity
We are seeking a Program Officer – Achievement Program & Vic Kids Eat Well to join the Prevention Division. Reporting to the Program and Workforce Coordinator your role is to:
- Provide advice and support to members, through high-quality, proactive and responsive phone and email assistance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with program members to support the implementation of program initiatives and activities.
- Assist in the review and development of resources to engage organisations in program activities and ensure currency.
- Utilise and support the maintenance of program databases and information systems.
- Oversee a range of general program support activities.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
- An advanced diploma (or higher qualification) in health promotion, public health, social sciences OR a related discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting and implementing public health projects, programs or policy.
- Sound understanding of settings-based health promotion principles.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills, particularly in communicating health promotion practice to an education audience.
- Strong organisation skills, with an ability to work autonomously and the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
