The Prevention Division aims to prevent cancer for all Victorians. This is done through community interventions, mass media, advocacy, training and providing policy advice based on the best available evidence. About your opportunity
We are seeking a Program Coordinator – Achievement Program to join the Prevention Division. Reporting to the Head, Healthy Places your role is to:
- Develop and implement program strategies to increase member engagement to enable progress through the Achievement Program benchmarks.
- Build capacity of members and health professionals to support best practice health promotion and progress through the Achievement Program.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external partner organisations, members and health promotion staff, representing the Achievement Program in relevant forums.
- Implement a suite of activities to meet Achievement Program service deliver objectives/key performance indicators.
- Ensure the effective monitoring and evaluation of Achievement Program activities.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of health promotion principals, implementation of projects and programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with significant experience producing high quality program resources and communication materials.
- Experience development and maintaining strong working partnerships with multiple and varied stakeholders.
