Within the Fundraising and Communications Division, the Community Engagement Unit is responsible for providing Victorians with inspiring, meaningful ways to contribute to a cancer free future. To achieve this, the unit is accountable for the strategy and implementation of key fundraising campaigns and events across the State. This dynamic unit takes a continuous improvement approach to innovation and business development, ensuring supporters have a great experience supporting Cancer Council.

About your opportunity

We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Officer to join the Digital Fundraising Team. The role provides fundraising coaching support via phone, email, social media and face to face to our online campaign participants. Reporting to the Digital Fundraising Manager, your role is to:

  • Work closely with the Supporter Experience team to ensure all supporters of online campaigns receive excellent customer service
  • Support online fundraising by updating web content and campaign pages in line with the social media and digital marketing strategies
  • Provide fundraising coaching to our top online fundraisers and identify supporter motivations to drive fundraising results and ensure our top supporters have a great experience raising funds for Cancer Council Victoria’s online campaigns
  • Regularly report against campaign KPIs, especially while campaigns are in market, using online tracking tools

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • A recognised diploma from a tertiary institution, preferably in marketing, customer service, administration, or related discipline.
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and handle a wide range of situations confidentially and diplomatically
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills, and outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and facilitate a supportive working environment with people from a variety of backgrounds.

What we can offer you

This full-time permanent position provides a salary within range $52,086- $57,436 pa plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging and a meal entertainment card. We also offer a flexible and friendly work environment, social and wellbeing activities and a location close to public transport.
