Cancer is hard. Finding support shouldn’t be.
At Cancer Council WA, we’re here so no one faces cancer alone. Every day, our team supports Australians impacted by cancer with information, emotional and practical support, and a compassionate ear when it’s needed most. Our vision is to connect, inform, and empower people impacted by cancer.
Each year, we make tens of thousands of connections, helping people understand their diagnosis, supporting carers, and ensuring families can access the care and resources they need.
We’re enhancing our Cancer Navigation service so every Australian can access the help they need, no matter their postcode, background, or cancer type. To make that happen, we need your support!
As a Cancer Council Navigator, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals and families, offering clear guidance and emotional support, and providing high-quality, evidence-based cancer information and support to people at every stage of their cancer journey. While we offer cancer information and emotional support, this service does not provide clinical advice or medical guidance.
As our team continues to grow, we're looking for experienced professionals who are passionate about making a difference. This role is perfect for someone who is motivated by purpose and connection. You’re a compassionate communicator who brings experience in oncology or a related health setting, and you’re committed to supporting people from all backgrounds with empathy, respect, and warmth.
Based in Subiaco, this role offers flexible part-time opportunities, with positions available from 0.6 FTE onwards.
If you're ready to bring your expertise to a supportive, collaborative, and dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you!
As a Cancer Council Navigator, you will engage with individuals reaching out for cancer information and support through calls and online enquiries.
