We’re Expanding! CALM Inc are delighted to announce the expansion of our early intervention programs and services for young people. Our expansion reaffirms our commitment to supporting children, young people, families, and the wider community.

This role is available for immediate start! You will be welcomed into a highly experienced and supportive team of Child, Youth, and Family Support Workers. Your specific hours, program deliverables, days and base location are all negotiable.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who:

  • Holds Degree qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Has experience in Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) programs and services for Young People, focused on child safe outcomes, working within a Strengths Based Framework
  • We work with a high number of Aboriginal clients and strongly welcome Indigenous applicants.
  • Has a cleared Working with Children Check and commitment to Child Safe Standards
  • Has strong professional boundaries, self-awareness, and effective self-care strategies
  • Holds a current unrestricted NSW driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Is a trained facilitator in evidence-based early intervention programs.
  • Works collaboratively - sharing initiatives to enhance community and best practice.
  • Has a strong commitment to teamwork, initiative, and a non-judgmental approach. You will uphold our values of respect, ethical behaviour, professionalism, and social justice at all times.
