We're seeking an enthusiastic Workforce Development Lead to join our dedicated Disability Operations Team. This role focuses on the development and implementation of learning and development plans within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services Division.

  • Location: Regional based, with a presence at all local BSL NDIS offices within each Local Government Area (LGA).
  • Salary: A competitive remuneration package ranging from $105,621.82 - $110,284.40 per annum + 11% superannuation and $13,000 vehicle allowance!
  • Type of Employment: Permanent, full-time (38-40 hours per week).

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Workforce Development Lead, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of learning and development plans for the NDIS workforce linked to BSL and NDIA service requirements, Disability Service standards, strategic and operational priorities, and NDIS review outcomes.

This is a regional based role, working alongside Area and Senior Managers, responsible for supporting all the sites in that region.

There is an expectation that these roles are present at all local sites on a rotating basis.

Northern Region:

Supporting sites located within the North East Melbourne Area (NEMA) and Hume Merri-bek Area (HMA).

Southern Region:

Supporting sites located within the Bayside Peninsula Area (BPA).

Western Region:

Supporting sites located within the Brimbank Melton Area (BMA) and Western Melbourne Area (WMA).

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have:

  • Experience and/or knowledge in developing and delivering accessible content meeting web content accessible guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively in a team environment and effectively network with a range of stakeholders including with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work with the ability to identify and resolve problems and make appropriate recommendations
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Local Area Coordination, and Early Childhood Early Intervention best practice principles
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload, coach, and guide staff
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications education, coaching, workforce development or training. (Certificate IV level or above)
  • High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suite and Learning Management System
