The Brotherhood aims to be the leader in aged care in Victoria, focus is enabling older people who access our services to flourish. We currently have casual vacancies for Personal Care Workers (PCW) at the Clifton Hill facility on a casual basis. In the role of PCW, you will provide professional, person-centred care and support to the Residential Aged Care residents according to their individual care plans always ensuring residents' dignity, safety and security. Additionally, this position works with the clinical care team to foster maximum resident independence and autonomy.

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum qualification of Certificate Level III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a residential aged care environment (preferred)
  • Proven understanding of and ability to support compliance with Aged Care Standards, Food Safety and other professional and legislative requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse multicultural workforce and client base
  • Outstanding time management skills, ability to manage priorities and schedule to achieve outcomes
  • Reliable and Flexible to work across facilities
  • Understanding of workplace OH&S principles
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood.

There are multiple casual positions available working various hours per week.

Salary range: $24.08 - $24.93 per hour plus 25% casual loading, based on skills and experience plus superannuation. Generous salary packaging provisions are available to increase take home pay.
