ABOUT THE ROLE

As a People & Culture Advisor, you will provide high-level support to staff on all P&C matters and contribute to a range of transformational projects.

  • Provide general advice to staff and managers on all facets of the employee lifecycle
  • Support P&C Business Partners in delivering a consultative and customer focused P&C service to staff and managers
  • Coach and support leaders in the use of HR systems and interpreting industrial instruments
  • Support people related initiatives and projects
  • Undertake remuneration, classification and job evaluation process for positions
  • Draft and prepare documents, correspondence and generate reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Effectively manage high volume operational activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Mentor and train members of the wider P&C team

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED?

Your previous experience in driving an exceptional employee experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment will support you in this role. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in HR
  • A demonstrated strong customer centric focus
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Ability to create positive working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders
  • Highly developed administrative skills, including computer literacy and excellent attention to detail
  • Pragmatic, proactive and collaborative approach
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of BSL
