At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Marketing Coordinator to join our dedicated Marketing team.

  • Location: Fitzroy
  • Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working 38 hours per week / Permanent Part-Time working 30 hours per week
  • Salary: $90,962.92 - $97,875.15 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation. (pro-rata for part-time employment)

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator supports the delivery of marketing activities across BSL, helping to raise awareness, drive engagement, and support organisational goals. 

The role reports to the Marketing Manager – Campaigns, Content and Growth and works closely with the Senior Manager – Marketing and other team members to coordinate campaigns, develop content, and assist with marketing tools and reporting. 

Campaign & Content Delivery: 

  • Contribute to the coordination and delivery of marketing campaigns and activities across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.)
  • Support the development of marketing materials, including but not limited to social media content, brochures and email campaigns
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of printed materials (e.g. flyers, posters, signage) by liaising with designers and printers
  • Contribute to the ongoing updating, editing and maintenance of BSL’s organisational websites to ensure content is accurate, accessible and aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Upload and update website content using a CMS (e.g. Craft CMS, WordPress)
  • Support the delivery of special projects and broader BSL initiatives as directed
  • Stakeholder & Project Coordination:
  • Work with relevant Marketing Managers and stakeholders to ensure marketing activities are appropriate and aligned
  • Coordinate marketing requests from internal stakeholders and ensure timely delivery
  • Using interpretation and adaptability, assist with briefing and reviewing content or creative from internal teams or external suppliers
  • Support the use of marketing templates and tools with stakeholders across the organisation 

Brand & Compliance: 

  • Ensure brand consistency is maintained across all communications and marketing
  • Ensure all marketing and communications activities are aligned with organisational policies and follow brand and image guidelines 

Analytics & Reporting: 

  • Conduct regular data analysis and measure campaign performance against predefined metrics
  • Contribute to tracking and reporting on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Insights) 

Digital Tools & Platforms 

  • Draft and schedule social media posts using tools like Meta Business Suite
  • Support the creation and distribution of email campaigns using platforms such as Klaviyo, Customer Insights or Campaign Monitor
  • Maintain marketing databases and asset libraries
  • Maintain marketing calendars and support campaign planning sessions

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:

Career Experience: 

  • Experience in a similar marketing role
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, Canva, CRM)
  • Understanding of marketing principles and campaign coordination
  • Experience in supporting marketing campaigns, and other ATL and BTL collateral
  • Experience working in a team environment and managing multiple tasks
  • Experience coordinating projects
  • Experience in data reporting, including but not limited reporting to maximise on revenue and ensure campaign profitability
  • Experience working in a team environment and managing multiple tasks. 

Personal Qualities: 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Creative thinker with a excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team to achieve outcomes
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • A commitment to maintaining and supporting child safety, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety.
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood of St Laurence. 

Qualifications/Other: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing
