This is an opportunity to step into a key executive leadership role, shaping and leading a fundraising function that enables world-class clinical trials and improves outcomes for patients.
You’ll have the support of a passionate and capable Fundraising team and the broader BCT leadership team in taking up the opportunity to lead meaningful growth in an organisation that combines scientific excellence with human compassion.
While our office is based in Newcastle, for the right candidate we are willing to explore remote work, with the expectation of regular travel to support connection, leadership functions and key priorities.
As Head of Fundraising, you will play a pivotal role in delivering sustained, diversified income growth, providing strategic leadership across the fundraising portfolio and leading through a team of senior managers to strengthen organisational capability, alignment and long-term growth.

This role will be key in guiding the team through this next chapter - providing clear leadership, supporting alignment across functions and strengthening capability, while maintaining momentum and performance. You bring significant senior leadership experience, ideally within fundraising, not-for-profit, marketing or communications environments. You are a strategic and commercially minded leader who can drive performance while building strong, engaged teams.
