Are you a young parent who wants to use your experience to help create positive change for other young parent-led families across Australia?
At Brave Foundation, we believe young parents must be included and empowered in the decisions, systems and services that impact their lives.
We are looking for a Lived Experience Advocate to join our team and help make sure the voices of young parents are represented in conversations with government, community organisations, and decision-makers.
This is a flexible, supportive opportunity designed for someone who is passionate about speaking up, creating change, and helping other young parents are seen and understood.
You do not need previous advocacy experience — we are looking for someone with passion, confidence to learn, and a genuine interest in making a difference.
Brave Foundation builds a village of support around expecting and parenting young people, connecting them with a professional mentor, and the support and resources to thrive. We are a child safe organisation and are committed to creating inclusive, supportive, and culturally safe spaces for all young people.
This role is part of Brave’s “Our Voices, Our Lives, Our Future” project, funded by Minderoo, which focuses on amplifying the voices and experiences of young parents.
We’d love to hear from you!
