ABOUT BODY SAFETY AUSTRALIA

Body Safety Australia is Victoria's largest and most trusted provider of early childhood and school programs to prevent harm to children and promote positive relationships. We are committed to promoting childhoods free from violence where children enjoy equitable and respectful relationships. We deliver in class workshops to:

  • Children and young people in early childhood education, primary schools and secondary schools
  • Parents and carers
  • Teachers and education staff

Body Safety Australia delivers programs to prevent childhood sexual abuse and other forms of gender and sexual violence. While the role does not require you to deal directly with disclosures, this is the core work of the organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be sitting in the driver's seat of our enquiries and bookings process, often as a client’s first introduction to Body Safety Australia. You have strong attention to detail and time management skills. Most of your day involves scheduling our team of educators to deliver programs to clients' across Victoria. You are self-motivated, you will be working in a small collaborative team working proactively to meet individual and organisational goals.

While the majority of client communication is via email, you also take pride your excellent phone communication and relationship building skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Convert client enquires to program bookings using your customer and sales experience.
  • Provide program information, processing bookings and registrations, maintaining accurate records, and responding to same‑day changes.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the bookings process, including invoices, payments, cancellations and refund escalations.
  • Assist with program coordination, setting up online training sessions, preparing digital/print materials, managing documentation, and supporting daily administrative operations.
  • Upsell and cross-sell our suite of programs
  • Support logistics and marketing through product sales management, and marketing material preparation.
  • Communicate proactively via email, phone and other electronic means.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service, sales and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Experience with Xero preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel, etc), Microsoft Teams & Canva.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders with diplomacy, tact and compassion.
