Applications are invited for the ongoing full-time role of Head of Research and Policy at the Green Institute, the official research Institute for the Australian Greens. This role is based in Brisbane Qld, but remote work will be considered for the right candidate.
The Head of Research and Policy will lead the development of policy and research at the Green Institute and manage a small team of policy and research volunteers. Depending on the successful candidate’s experience and capabilities, the Head of Research and Policy will also engage in public advocacy on behalf of the Green Institute in the media and online.
A probationary period of three months will apply and may be subject to extension by a maximum of two months.
Employment conditions outlined in the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) . Depending on the level of skills and experience of the successful candidate, the position will be paid at between payment level SCHADS 5.1 - SCHADS 7.1.
