Bioregional Australia Foundation

JOIN US AS EXECUTIVE LEADER

Are you ready to make a real impact? Do you want to be part of a growing organisation dedicated to helping communities, precincts and the commercial and housing development sector reduce their carbon footprint and create liveable precincts using our framework One Planet Living?

Bioregional Australia is looking for a passionate and driven Executive Leader to lead our efforts in building transformative partnerships and driving systemic change.

On top of this, this position will be responsible for the organisation’s administrative tasks. The role is part time, 2 days a week to start, but the role and compensation can grow in line with the organisation’s top line growth. Alternatively, it could be spread over the week so nothing falls through the gaps.

The contract period is for 2 years. The work is largely remote and could be done from anywhere in Australia.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Unleash Your Creativity: Develop innovative corporate and community partnerships with businesses or entities that share our mission.
  • Be the Architect of Change: Manage our projects and drive the framework’s use through integrators who will conduct One Planet Living (OPL) Action Plans on our behalf
  • Transform Lives: Seek systemic change by driving the awareness and use of our OPL framework
  • Fuel Our Mission: Take us to the next level of financial sustainability and ensure the back end is covered off

WHY BIOREGIONAL AUSTRALIA?

  • Meaningful Work: Help Australia meet its emission targets and be part of the creation of sustainable communities
  • Innovative Environment: The OPL framework is ripe for enhancement whether it be through carbon footprinting or add on products and services, so you would have the opportunity to expand and innovate
  • Empowerment: As a small business you get to step into a role that you can mould in the way that you see fit, whilst working closely with the board to ensure alignment of goals. The role can grow as the organisation grows.

If you're ready for an additional challenge, if you're passionate about sustainable communities and growing a movement, then we want to hear from you. The role would suit a consultant keen to add the security of 2 days work to their week or someone who has another part time role, or who wants to work part time. There’s a lot to do, and it can’t all be done at once, so prioritisation will be key.
