These are very different and challenging times. We've all been told to stay at home but for the homeless, that's just not an option. We want to see an end to homelessness but we know that's not going to happen overnight, and those experiencing homelessness need to be protected and cared for during this time.

We will be caring for you too. Your health and safety is our top priority and we'll be ensuring you have all the PPE required to keep you and your loved one's safe. You'll also be able to access our wellbeing leave, NFP salary packaging and the flexibility to work when it suits you over a 24-hour roster.

About us:

Launch Housing has an ambitious and singular mission to end homelessness. We aim to get people housed, keep them housed, and be an influential voice on ending homelessness. We are a secular, independent provider of choice for clients and the go to organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community.

About the Role:

Working alongside The Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) and St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM), Launch Housing will support people who are homeless during the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure they have accommodation when requiring self-isolation and quarantine.

The newly commissioned facility is currently being established. The facility is based in Fitzroy and will be supported by clinical staff and services as a satellite facility of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.

The Facility has 43 units across 4 levels with single rooms and ensuites and will be staffed by Launch Housing and SVHM workers.

About you:

We are looking for people with a passion for social justice with excellent people skills, we are looking to create a team who will fill a variety of shifts over a 24-hour roster, applicants' availability will be discussed at interview.
