We are a secular Melbourne-based community organisation that provides homelessness services and life-changing housing supports to disadvantaged Victorians. Launch Housing is delivering a high-impact strategy that aims to reduce homelessness in Melbourne with strong government support for new solutions to build more social housing and to reverse the rate of people sleeping rough.
The Southbank residential facility includes 46 rooms, 41 for singles and 5 for couples. The services include temporary accommodation, case management, transitional support and other services to get people experiencing homelessness housed.
Reporting to the Case Management Team Leader, you will assist with the immediate and ongoing support needs of clients experiencing or at risk of homelessness, through the provision of a range of intervention options ensuring that the client's needs are translated into a personal program that encourages the client's independence, empowerment, autonomy and dignity. This support may be provided in a range of environments including funded accommodation services, private housing or via assertive outreach to clients experiencing housing crisis.
