A unique role is available for a flexible and passionate Care Adviser / Case Manager to join Anglicare’s supportive Client Services team; to provide valuable support to our clients across the Northern Sydney region and where required, Inner West Sydney.

This position ideally suits an adaptable, team-oriented person and offers the opportunity to find job satisfaction from within. As an experienced Care adviser/Case Manager with a passion for aged care, you will enjoy meaningful work, flexible work practices and the reward of making a difference with our older clients.

In this role, you will work autonomously, where you will be visiting older clients who reside in the Northern Sydney region and on occasions Inner West Sydney. As a valuable part of the Client Services team, you will work in a supportive environment, reporting to the Client Services Manager. A full induction, training, travel allowance, and career development plan will equip you to be successful in this rewarding role.

About you:

You will have a heart for care, balanced with a desire to maximise services and offer commercially sustainable case management. Your warm nature and professionalism will be in line with the organisation’s strategy, Christian Vision, Mission and Values.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Welfare or Social Sciences (or similar), Diploma in Case Management (minimum) knowledge, understanding, previous experience in Home Care/Community/Aged Care service
  • A current NSW driver’s licence, comprehensively insured car and a good driving record
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships and demonstrated customer service skills
  • Be a resilient problem-solver who can cope with a high volume workload
  • Work autonomously in a methodical way and be aware of the challenges that older people face.
