The Community Engagement Coordinator (Events and Volunteers) supports the Events and Volunteers Program Lead to effectively engage our volunteers in reaching the diversity of people in Australia by providing administrative support and staffing events and activities across the country that help deliver the Beyond Blue 2023+ Strategy.

The position contributes to the Beyond 2023+ Strategy goal Connecting: helping people feel empowered to reach out to those around them by sharing people’s experiences to build supportive environments.

The appointee will ideally be tertiary qualified in either Business Administration, Event Management or Community Engagement with two years’ experience in a similar role. Your understanding and competence in using website content management systems, databases and other online technologies will be underpinned by strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to adjust to a range of audiences and high attention to detail.

Your ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with internal and external stakeholders is essential and you’ll be required to travel at times to local and interstate locations including over weekends for events.
