About the Role

bestchance Child Family Care is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our growing Children's Therapy Services team and support children aged 0–12 years and their families through assessment, intervention and capacity-building supports.

Reporting to the Site Lead, your primary goal will be to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals, integrating the developmental and therapy needs of children ages 0-10 years with developmental delays or disabilities.

In addition to maintaining a manageable caseload of approximately 3–4 clients per day, you will have opportunities to mentor developing clinicians and contribute to a strong culture of learning and professional growth.

The role includes a minimum of 150 minutes of protected administration and documentation time per day. Services are delivered across clinic, home, educational and community settings, allowing for a varied and rewarding caseload.

You will be supported through regular clinical and operational supervision, peer consultation, discipline-specific meetings and transdisciplinary collaboration.

Dedicated administrative support and flexibility to manage your own schedule.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience conducting autism and/or ADHD assessments, or a strong interest in developing this area of practice
  • Experience working with children and families, or a strong interest in paediatric practice
  • Experience within the NDIS or early childhood intervention sector is highly regarded but not essential
  • Current Working with children check
  • NDIS workers screening check (or willing to obtain)
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Passionate about early intervention and family-centred practice
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with families and educators
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary teamMinimum 3 days of commitment required.
  • You must hold a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
