The Opportunity

FRRR is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the delivery of the Future Drought Fund’s Communities Program.

Working closely with the Program Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating grants and supporting community organisations delivering drought preparedness activities.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a structured but fast-moving environment and enjoys working with purpose-driven programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day program activities and timelines
  • Support end-to-end grant processes, including assessment and payments
  • Manage program data and contribute to reporting insights
  • Act as a point of contact for funded organisations
  • Support grantees with resources, communication, and access to program support
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Grants Support
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple systems

About You

You are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities. You bring a practical approach and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver outcomes.

You will also have:

  • Strong administrative and coordination experience
  • Confidence managing high volumes of information with accuracy
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • A collaborative and team-focused mindset
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt in a changing environment

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in grants administration or community programs
  • Exposure to not-for-profit, government, or purpose-driven organisations
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar systems
  • Understanding of regional, rural, or remote communities
