Help shape long-term giving for a movement working to prevent and respond to displacement.
Act for Peace is a movement-driven organisation working with locally led partners and communities to prevent and respond to displacement and build the conditions for peace with justice. We envision a world where people aren’t forced from their homes by conflict, environmental stress and crisis and where those who have can rebuild their lives with dignity, safety and hope.
As Philanthropy Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in strengthening long-term support by helping identify, nurture and steward prospective major donors and legacy supporters. Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager and the wider Engagement Team, you’ll bring warmth, structure and momentum to a relationship-based program that inspires generosity and deepens supporter commitment over time.
You’re a confident relationship-builder who connects purpose with supporter intent. You bring a thoughtful, organised approach, managing competing priorities while working both independently and as part of a team. With a growth mindset, you’re eager to learn and develop your skills in philanthropy, and you’re motivated by building long-term, trust-based relationships.
You have:
Desirable experience includes exposure to legacy or bequest fundraising, event or small-group engagement, and understanding of donor stewardship and journeys.
If you’re looking to deepen your experience in philanthropy and build a long-term career in purpose-driven fundraising, apply now by submitting your CV and a short cover letter outlining why you’re the right person for this role.
