CMHA is a coalition of eight peak community mental health organisations from each State and Territory, established to provide leadership and direction to promote the importance and benefits of community mental health and recovery services across Australia.
The primary goals of CMHA are to build a viable and sustainable community managed mental health sector and to promote the value and outcomes delivered by community managed mental health services based on a philosophy of recovery and social inclusion.
The ACDC Project is a community initiative, with CMHA building innovative ways to increase the independence, social and community participation of people who live with a psychosocial disability who are not accessing services. This is a pilot project that will be trialled in all Australian states and territories, and will include partnerships, training and safe door to door services and resources.
A pivotal role, the Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement Manager will develop and lead key engagement activities, building relationships and awareness to promote the program with a range of senior and community stakeholders across 10 established sites covering QLD, SA, NT and NSW.
This is a full time role contracted until November 2022. Based in modern shared offices in Martin Place with flexibility to work from home. Expectation for some state and interstate travel is required
