The role

This role is responsible for the definition and successful implementation and adoption of a new Fundraising CRM system critical to the Fundraising operations at Vision Australia.

The ideal candidate will be required to define and guide the execution of a detailed project vision and CRM product roadmap. As the Fundraising Subject Matter Expert, you will act as primary liaison between business, technology and vendor stakeholders, ensuring that the CRM solution is right-sized, for purpose and will generate significant return for Vision Australia.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in defining the CRM replacement project roadmap, deliverables and targeted business objectives with measurable outcomes
  • Own the ongoing prioritisation of the CRM project backlog, working hand in hand with external vendors during CRM implementation
  • Support the CRM Project Manager throughout the project in managing business stakeholder expectations & communications
  • Work closely with the project team in defining business requirements and internal processes
  • Identification of key opportunities for Fundraising operation improvements and enhancements
  • Ensure CRM operational process and systems documentation are current and compliant
  • Own the CRM training material curation and oversee the ongoing training delivery
  • Influence and work closely with wider Fundraising, Communications and Marketing leadership team in advocating and delivering future enhancements to the CRM, Marketing Communications & Automation, web & digital channels and supporting backend systems

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working in or directly with a fundraising programme
  • Significant contribution to the successful delivery and adoption of a new CRM
  • Experience in consulting and negotiating with a diverse set of stakeholders across all organisational levels and a proven track record of advocating for the business to support the delivery of impactful fundraising and supporter engagement solutions
  • Demonstrated ability in business analysis and writing of succinct needs and requirements documentation
  • A proven ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and consistently hit targets

The Person

The role is suited for someone who has Fundraising expertise, is well-versed in stakeholder management, and has strong experience in implementing new technology in a large organisation.
