Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategy to significantly increase income for Individual Giving through the development of a plan for the acquisition of new donors for Regular Giving
  • Give input into the overall fundraising strategy and work with the wider fundraising team to deliver this
  • Look at strategies for acquisition across multiple channels including F2F, TM, DM and Digital
  • Manage relationships with third party suppliers including Fundraising agencies and mail houses, monitor and report on all suppliers and ensure best practice across the program
  • Work with Brand, Communications and Digital Marketing teams to ensure integration of all online, outdoor and traditional components to support activity for donor acquisition and retention
  • Work with the Digital team to ensure digital optimisation for donor acquisition fundraising
  • Work with Data Insight team to implement data segmentation strategies
  • Manage timelines for campaigns to ensure programs are executed on time
  • Develop and deliver the supporter journey for all new and active supporters
  • Responsible for the Donor Acquisition and Regular Giving income and expenditure budget, produce financial reports, monitor income, prepare forecasts etc.
  • Oversee detailed post campaign analysis for each appeal and regular giving campaign
  • Responsible for analysis and reporting on key metrics such as attrition and channel ROI and make recommendations for future investment
  • Develop innovative and best practice strategy, plans and tactics across acquisition to grow the program

Skills & Attributes

  • Experience working in fundraising across a multi-channel acquisition program which will include F2F
  • Experience across channels such as direct mail, regular giving, F2F, TM and digital
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage campaigns end to end and meet or exceed financial targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with a capacity for problem-solving and diplomacy
  • High standard of numeracy, budgeting, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly developed written skills, with demonstrated attention to detail
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • A commitment and interest to improve the future of disadvantaged Australian children
