The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to funding world-class breast cancer research.
With an ambitious vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer, NBCF plays a critical role in improving outcomes for people affected by the disease. The organisation is well respected, high performing and deeply committed to innovation, collaboration, and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, this role is responsible for leading the evolution of NBCF’s significant Single Giving program from a primarily direct mail model into a diversified, multi-channel program spanning digital, telemarketing and emerging platforms.
The successful applicant will inherit a strong program and be empowered to rethink how it operates through experimentation, iteration and continuous improvement.
The Direct Marketing Manager oversees multiple concurrent campaigns across acquisition and retention, with accountability for performance, ROI, and long-term supporter value. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, alongside leadership of a small team.
This is a standout opportunity to take ownership of an established program, drive meaningful innovation, and contribute to life-saving research.
You are a commercially minded, data-led direct marketing fundraiser who has worked in complex, multi-channel environments, and is confident owning performance and making decisions, and excels at brining stakeholders along the journey through strong engagement and collaboration.
You bring a strong understanding of supporter lifecycle management and enjoy translating insights into high-impact campaigns. You are equally comfortable shaping strategy and executing delivery, and you build strong relationships across teams to get results. You enjoy challenging the status quo to explore new opportunities and optimise existing performance.
You are motivated by purpose and excited by the opportunity to contribute to life-saving research through smarter, more effective fundraising.
If you are ready to take ownership of a high-impact program and drive meaningful change, apply with your resume and cover letter addressing key selection criteria.
