Connect Child and Family Services (Connect) is a multifaceted service organisation delivering a range of services to over 1,200 families and 1,600 children in Sydney’s Nepean, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains and Lithgow regions. Its programs encompass support, Early Childhood Education, Community Based Child and Family support, Nepean and Western Sydney transition to school, Disability, Play therapy and Little Possums Aboriginal play therapy and mentor program in Western Sydney.
The board views Connect and its contribution to the region as an important community asset and as such, on top of the service delivery and number of families supported, Connect prides itself in being a significant employer in the region, allowing professionals to live and work in a beautiful environment.
With Connect’s strong financial position and reputation, the incoming CEO has the opportunity to build on recent initiatives and gains, while leading the organisation into its next period of strategic growth (both service and financial). This will require analysis of strategic initiatives, workforce development and building strong relationships with the community and benefactors.
Please note that all child related positions at Connect Child and Family Services are subject to the Working with Children Check. The CEO position is also subject to a clear NDIS Worker Screening Check.
This role is located in Hazelbrook, Blue Mountains with a blend of office and remote work.
