Beacon Foundation (“Beacon”) seeks to better support young people to successfully transition from education to meaningful employment. We do this by bringing together business, industry, schools and the wider community to build real life education experiences. These experiences support young people to be ready for the future world of work.
We are seeking passionate and adaptive VPPP Coordinators to support the coordination of vocational placements for students undertaking VET courses at selected Department of Education (DoE) schools in North and North West Tasmania.
In this role you will work closely alongside the VPPP Lead and relevant school staff to build a shared and value-added coordination process for participating schools and colleges. You will maintain and grow business and industry connections to maximise employer networks for schools and students.

Based in Launceston or Burnie, this position is a fixed-term full time contract until 22 December 2021 with five weeks’ annual leave, employee assistance program and generous salary packaging under our PBI status in addition to training and a competitive market salary.
