Capital Region Community Services is very excited to be recruiting for this challenging and dynamic role!
As a Practice Leader within the Family Foundations team, the ideal applicant would have the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver therapeutic interventions to children aged 0-5 and parents/carers across the ACT, whilst providing practice guidance and peer supervision to the team of practitioners the position works alongside.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Practitioner position, described by our partners in the university sector as being 'a dream' for those with Social Work qualifications, or eligibility for registration as a psychologist. It comes with the opportunity to be part of a team that is keen to ‘think outside the box’ in the way it delivers intervention, with the organisation’s leadership proactive in encouraging staff to be flexible and creative in the that they work with children and families.
The incumbent of this role will have the opportunity to be a part of, and contribute to an exciting new model of therapeutic intervention for vulnerable children in their early childhood. The Family Foundations Program works alongside a suite of other programs providing inclusive and valuable services to the ACT community, as well as the Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre.
