Opportunities Available for Instructors
Bayley House is a leading disability services provider dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual disabilities. We are committed to providing high-quality services that promote independence, inclusion, and well-being. Opportunities are available across our 2 hubs: Bayley House Day Programs and Bayley Arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to provide individualised support to people with intellectual disabilities to engage in a life of their choosing through a range of Day Programs to suit their NDIS goals
- Create and run Programs of Support to a group of adults with intellectual disabilities in life areas such as: Pathways to Employment, Creative Arts, Life Long Learning and Health and Wellbeing
- Pull on research-based practice to deliver high quality programs and support such as Person-Centred Active Support
- Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence, social skills, and community participation
- Support people with a range of support needs including High Intensity Supports
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
- Maintain accurate records and reports on individual progress and support provided
Requirements:
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Certificate III in Disability or equivalent qualification/experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to providing high-quality support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
