We are a preventative youth mental health charity created and driven by young people for young people. We empower young people with the confidence and skills to overcome tough times and look out for each other. We work to create stigma-free communities that champion young people’s mental health and well-being. Our vision is a world where all young people lead mentally healthy and fulfilling lives.
We are an energetic, fun and dynamic team passionate about creating meaningful change for youth mental health. Excitingly, we are on the hunt to build our team with even more passionate, skilled and driven people to continue to develop our high-performance culture and expand the reach and impact of batyr. If you want a workplace where you can bring your full, weird and wonderful self to the office daily, this is the place.
You can converse with anyone - anytime, anywhere, on the phone, in person, via email (perhaps even Morse code). You speak passionately and with conviction and are driven by a passion for making a difference. You care deeply about nurturing meaningful relationships and are willing to take time to understand the needs of the individuals and communities you engage with. You love the challenge of hitting targets and KPIs and aren’t afraid to be creative to get there. You love being proactive and jumping headfirst into your work, excited to create impact. Your people skills, creativity, drive, attention to detail, and organisational ability combine in an Avengers-style team-up to deliver exceptional results.
Whilst you love a classic phone call with a stakeholder, you aren’t afraid to pave your own path, try something new and know when to pull the pin if it’s not paying dividends. You can manage priorities in the blink of an eye and love using systems to work as efficiently as possible, ultimately allowing more time to foster your stakeholder relationships! You are the go-to person if anyone needs a problem solved. You love being flexible and helping people to reach their full potential.
At batyr, we pride ourselves on building meaningful, needs-led relationships with our school partners to ensure the delivery of relatable, engaging and high-impact programs for young people. The School Partnerships Coordinator will use their relationship-building skills to foster strong and trusting relationships with school partners across Queensland and Northern New South Wales to book batyr’s preventative mental health education programs. The School Partnership Coordinator will support the on-the-ground coordination of these programs, providing a unique opportunity to witness first-hand the impact of batyr’s programs and offerings.
The role has the freedom to look creatively at other ways of developing and solidifying relationships, for example, tapping into networks of educators, using social media, and going to conferences. Always with the ultimate goal of extending our reach and impact through batyr’s offerings and meeting the diverse needs of stakeholders. The role will maintain efficient processes and structures, with a proactive approach to evaluate and adapt processes where necessary as we scale. All contact and bookings will be recorded in batyr’s CRM system (Salesforce) accurately and efficiently to ensure quality relationship management and smooth sailing for program delivery.
The School Partnerships Coordinator will work closely with the Relationship and Booking Lead (QLD/NNSW) and State Manager (QLD/NNSW) to ensure program booking and delivery targets are reached while also building batyr’s presence, increasing engagement of new school partners and developing a strong retention plan for current school partners.
All candidates will need to hold a current Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card) or be willing to obtain these within one (1) month of starting the role.
A position description is attached.
