About the role

Working under the direction of the Lifestyle Coordinator, the Therapy and Leisure Partner is responsible for the person-centred implementation of leisure, lifestyle and therapy activities with the residents at our Aged Care Facility. You will also work closely with the Occupational Therapist &/or Physiotherapist to deliver quality therapeutic interventions with our residents including the preparation, application and evaluation of programs and activities.

About you

You will have a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent or be working towards one. Effective communication skills and the ability to understand the needs of people with dementia in relation to leisure and therapeutic activities are essential.

• Part time 15 hours per week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3pm - 8pm
• Potential to pick up additional shifts as needed for leave cover
